Shopnix (“we”, “us”) operates shopnix.ink. This policy explains what personal information we collect, why we collect it, who we share it with, and the choices you have. It is written to comply with the Indian Information Technology Act, 2000 and the rules made under it, and with the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.

1. Information We Collect

• Information you give us: name, email address, phone number, shipping and billing address, and the contents of any message you send us.
• Order information: what you bought, order value, delivery status and returns history.
• Payment information: payments are processed by our payment gateway partners. Card numbers, UPI PINs, CVV and netbanking credentials are entered directly with the gateway and are never seen or stored by us. We receive only a transaction reference, the amount, and whether the payment succeeded.
• Technical information: IP address, browser and device type, pages viewed and referring URL, collected through cookies and similar technologies.

2. Why We Use It

• To process, pack, ship and deliver your order, and to handle returns and refunds;
• To contact you about your order and to answer support requests;
• To detect and prevent fraud, payment abuse and misuse of the site;
• To meet tax, accounting and other legal obligations;
• To improve our products, site and service;
• To send you marketing messages — only where you have opted in, and you can opt out at any time.

3. Who We Share It With

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with parties who need it to run the store:

• Shopify, which hosts our online store and processes orders on our behalf;
• Payment gateways, to take payment and process refunds;
• Courier and logistics partners, who need your name, address and phone number to deliver your order;
• Analytics and advertising providers such as Google and Meta, which may set cookies to measure how our site and ads perform;
• Government or law-enforcement authorities, where we are legally required to disclose information.

4. Cookies

We use cookies to keep your cart working, remember your preferences, measure traffic and, where you allow it, show you relevant ads. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Some parts of the store, including checkout, may not work correctly if you block essential cookies.

5. How Long We Keep It

We keep order and transaction records for as long as required under Indian tax and company law (generally up to eight years). Marketing contact details are kept until you unsubscribe. Support correspondence is kept for as long as needed to resolve your query and for a reasonable period afterwards.

6. Security

Our store runs over HTTPS and payments are handled by PCI-DSS compliant gateways. We restrict access to personal data to the people who need it to do their job. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security, but we take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your information.

7. Your Rights

You may ask us to give you a copy of the personal data we hold about you, correct anything that is wrong, delete your data where we are not required to keep it, or withdraw your consent to marketing. 8. Children

Our store is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 18. If you believe a child has given us their data, contact us and we will delete it.
